If you understand “Yin and yang”, the principles and the law of the universe, then you can have a healthy and free life.

Hello, I’m Hiroyuki Naka, a macrobiotic mentor and the founder of the restaurant, “Brown Rice Sushi TEC” in Boston.

Let me briefly explain Yin and Yang first of all.

The characteristic of yin is centrifugal force. It’s the energy that goes out from the center of the rotating earth towards space.

Ascend, diffusion, expansion, dispersion, separation, and decomposition are yin characteristics, and women are strongly affected by this yin earth force.

The characteristic of yang is centripetal force. It’s the energy exerted from all directions of boundless space toward the center of the earth.

Descent, contraction, fusion, assimilation, gathering, and organization are yang characteristics.
Men are strongly affected by this yang celestial force.

The earth is a typical example of a yin outside and yang inside. It is very heavy, has inward energy, is coagulated, and is yang.

The outside is covered with yin water.

The more the ground is outside, the more yin it becomes.

Areas off the ground are even more yin for air. Air is also compressed and heavy at the bottom and yang, and thin and light at the outside away from the center and yin.

The earth is such a star.

However, some stars in the same universe have a hollow center. The center is light and yin. And the outside is hard and yang. One theory is that the moon is hollow.

Besides the earth, humans are also yin outside and yang inside.

There are yang bones and organs in the center and skin and fat on the outside. The outside where metabolism is active is yin. The inside with slow metabolism is yang.

Many animals have this structure.

For example, when we greet a person for the first time, we look at the yin outside of the person.
A person’s appearance, voice, and other immediately recognizable characteristics are visible on the surface.

On the other hand, the more you spend time getting to know a person, the more you get to know their inside, and the more you spend the time you get to know their core.

The core is very yang.

The more time you spend with, the closer you get to the person, the more you get to their core.
Also, the outer white part of the egg is yin, and the inner yolk part is yang.

On the other hand, in material terms, plants are the opposite of animals.

For vegetables such as carrots and daikon radish, the outer skin part is yang and the inner part is yin.

The outer leaves of cabbage are hard and yang and the inner leaves are young and soft and yin.

The outer side of human beings on this planet is yin. The inside is yang.

Keep this in mind and look at people’s hearts and personalities that way.

You have to look at everything from that perspective.

There is something that you can see by looking at the phenomena of this world in this way.
We, humans, are born from the energy of yin and yang, the two halves of the infinite universe.

Human beings have elements of yin and yang within themselves, and at the same time, they live by taking in yin and yang energy from the external environment.

Therefore, harmony with the order of the universe is essential for human beings to have a healthy and free life both physically and mentally.

Everything in this world changes.

Everything in this world changes.

Please remember that it is the law of the world and the law of the universe.
